Initially founded in 2002 as the Southern Region under Southern California Base (later changed to Sunrider Base) of the Rebel Legion, Scarif Base has grown from a small handful of customers to a group of more than 40 customers that cover San Diego and Imperial Counties and their outlying areas.
Our Mission
The mission of The Rebel Legion is threefold. First, we offer the costume enthusiast of the Star Wars hero characters a global community to enjoy, express, and share their costume talents. Secondly, the Legion also promotes the quality and improvement of Star Wars costumes. Thirdly and most importantly, we follow the lead of Lucasfilm Ltd. by giving back to the community through works of charity and volunteerism.
The Rebel Legion
The Rebel Legion is an international Star Wars costuming organization created by, of and for people interested in creating costumes from the Star Wars mythos. Research, create, build and improve your costumes in a place where costumers with similar passions share skills, tips and ideas. Jedi, Rebel Pilots, Troopers Princesses and even Wookiees…we’ve got them all…and we are always looking for more.
